Harbor Island West Marina

Construction is currently taking place at Harbor Island West Marina. The marina is undergoing a $70 million comprehensive rebuild, encompassing 3.8 acres of land and 22 acres of water. The project will include enhanced amenities and public spaces that reflect San Diego’s world-class waterfront lifestyle.

Located at the westernmost portion of Harbor Island, the redevelopment will revitalize one of San Diego’s most recognizable marinas. The project will feature state-of-the-art marina infrastructure, new public amenities, and spaces designed for work, relaxation, and recreation.

The new marina aims to establish itself as Southern California’s premier recreational boating destination. It will have enhanced capacity to accommodate vessels ranging from superyachts to smaller entry-level sail and power boats, as well as all sizes in between. The expanded amenities and service offerings will transform the facility into a resort-like experience while preserving Harbor Island West Marina’s local community spirit and family-owned dedication. The goal is to elevate the user experience, transforming it into a more comprehensive recreational destination beyond mere boat docking.

The project will be completed in phases over approximately two years, allowing portions of the marina to remain operational during construction.
